Using and extending upon students' introductory knowledge of probability and economic models, this course introduces students to the tools of economic analysis. Taking the perspective of active economic participants (rather than outside observers), students gain experience with a diversity of analytical techniques--such as regression analysis and simulation--in the context of real world data decision problems. Classes consist of a combination of cases, lectures, and interactive discussions. (Lecture, 3 hours)
