60-427A and 05-899D Interactive Programming: Multimedia (Pamela Jennings) Students in the Interactive Programming course will learn computer programming and aesthetic techniques for developing interactive multimedia and interaction design projects using two popular computer applications, Macromedia Director and Cycling74 MAX, An introduction to techniques for creating alternative input devices for controlling screen-based applications will also be covered. Students will gain an overview of the programming environments through assignments and individual projects. Class include 60-110 Electronic Media Studio I (for School of Art students) or its equivalent. Students are expected to have worked with computer based graphics, video or audio tools. Previous programming experience is not required. Please speak with the instructor if you have any questions about the course requirements.
