Last Friday afternoon, the fraternities, sororities, and independent student organizations participating in booth moved the pieces of their structures to the Spring Carnival Midway, which is located on the Morewood Parking Lot. Some of the groups used flatbed trucks or U-Hauls in addition to brute strength to make the move. There was only one major construction problem during Move On when a main column in Alpha Epsilon Pi's booth gave way on Friday night. They desperately attempted to fix the problem, but Midway Control ordered them to collapse their structure. The fraternity rebuilt it the following day. There have been no major incidents since then. During the sunny days leading up to Carnival's opening Thursday afternoon, organizations have been doing non-stop construction on their booths, working hard to finish their booths in time for the 3:00 p.m. opening of this year's Spring Carnival, "How Things Work."
